The strap was quite loose and doesn't hold the mat snugly this it looks a little shabby when carrying it. Also the handles twist awkwardly when you try to carry it on your shoulder for some reason. Material could be better as well as it does feel a little rough and cheap.
It's a nice colour and material although more foamy than expected. Also thought it would be able to fold in more ways than how it already is precut (only folding in the side that goes on the ground).
Perfect to use as a yoga mat and then be able to fold it to support my knees when needed. Cute backpack that has room for the mat as well as my towel and drink bottle. Very happy with it.
Been looking at this mat for a long time and finally bought it. so glad i did. much more comfortable than my previous yoga mat. the thickness is great and i like the grip that the matte texture gives. also the folding shape is far more convenient to store. 100% recommend!
This bag fits everything I need except for my water bottle. I don't have a large water bottle. It is a standard diameter much the same as a 500ml bottle of spring water from the supermarket but slightly taller and narrower. Even so I find the water bottle holders far too tight. It is easier to slip the water bottle into the bag with my fold up mat and pop things like phone and keys into the narrow pockets. I also find the buckles a bit unco, even so it suits my purpose, which is walking to class. I love my mat especially since I have had my knee replacement, and get so many questions and comments on it.
Feels great - can't wait to use it on our next travel adventures! Easier to travel with instead of a roll up!

Love love love my backpack and foldable mat! Mat is thick and firm. Backpack is lightweight and easy to carry around, even with laptop in the bag.
I have tried sooo many different mats of so many different brands . The FoldUp mat is hands down the best mat I have ever come across.
As a Pilates teacher and retreat host I travel a lot with mats and work with clients with injuries. This mat is not just super light and easy to transport, it's also so helpful to cushion sensitive knees, wrist and side of the hips. Folded together it even makes exercises like a Pilates Roll Up easier!

This mat is terrible for yoga… especially hot yoga. Its has absolutely no grip whatsoever. Holding a down dog pose is 10x harder on this mat as its so slippery, especially once your hands get sweaty.
The quality is good and it works great for pilates but I wouldn’t recommend or repurchase.

Bought 2 mats as gifts, and the straps were free - very handy way to take the mat to a class, with a pocket for keys,phone etc.
Everything I read about how handy this mat was, how portable, how clever, is actually true! I love how easily it folds, how neatly it fits into my yoga bag. And it gives my body just the amount of support it needs.

Loving the FoldUp! Such a great idea with the backpack as the roll up mats are cumbersome to carry! A space saver too
As a 63 year old who is lining up for knee surgery the FoldUp is a game changer. The ability to fold means that the already more forgiving mat is three layers thick where I put my knees. I also have a section of mat that is left over after my puppy chewed my first one that I use to double thickness other areas like hands and wrists. The FoldUp has allowed me to step up my pre surgery strengthening routine.

Other yoga mats are cumbersome and not travel-friendly. But this mat I bought for my mother is brilliant: it is so lightweight and folds up into the backpack I also got for her. She will be taking it everywhere she goes now!
